Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Wirral

Start Date: September

Salary: £95 – £115 per day

Responsibilities

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support students with ASC and PDA both in and out of the classroom, helping to manage behaviours, reduce anxiety and promote engagement with learning.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working with children or young people with ASC
• Knowledge or experience supporting students with PDA
• Previous experience in a SEND school or specialist provision
• A calm, patient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
