Salary: £39,152 – £41,771 a year pro rata plus £5,000 market supplement and £963 essential car user allowance (subject to criteria).
Hours per week: 37.
Contract type: Fixed Term for 2 years (secondment opportunity). If you are a permanent LBC employee, you must obtain written approval from your manager before applying and submit the copy with your application.
We are looking for Occupational Therapists to join our growing Adult Social Care team, working to promote the independence, inclusion and well‑being of all adults with social care needs.

Responsibilities
Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote the independence of adults and older people in a diverse community.
Using a strengths‑based approach, emphasis is placed on enablement and reablement to empower people to live as independently as possible for as long as possible.
Complete a variety of assessments and interventions to overcome occupational barriers using new techniques and technologies, moving and handling skills, specialist equipment and environmental adaptations.
About You
You will be self‑motivated, positive, flexible and innovative, with the ability to work collaboratively and promote teamwork across health and social care.
Organised, able to make professional judgements with complex and challenging cases, and possess excellent communication skills.
Maintain quality records, write clear, concise reports and develop knowledge of legislation and regulations governing Social Care, Housing and Health & Safety, including personalisation, eligibility criteria, safeguarding and mental capacity.
As a qualified Occupational Therapist, you must hold professional registration and have experience in health and social care, partnership and inter‑agency working.
