Role Summary

• Support the production (Extrusion and Reclaim)/ warehouse in their day-to-day duties.
• Ensure all aspects of Health & Safety, BRC and ISO are fully met.
• Support with warehouse duties and ancillary support on the extrusion equipment.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

• To maintain the required BRC hygiene standards on the extruders by undertaking a robust cleaning/painting schedule.
• Support production in their ‘clean as you go’ standard in an as and when.
• Supporting in the warehouse by performing a number of duties i.e., Loading and unloading of vehicles pertaining to the warehouse; maintain warehouse cleanliness using the floor scrubber, internal stock movements.
• Train in basic extrusion knowledge so the role can eventually support the production team and succession planning.
• Trained to use Silo blower and resin drier
• Trained on the core cutter.
• Emptying of large bins into external skips
• Helping support the production team with the running of the in-house recycling machine.

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

Knowledge on Health & Safety, ISO/ BRC and hygiene standards

• Ideally PPT & Counter Balance licence (training can be provided)
• Willingness to understand the Extrusion manufacturing process
• Ability to work both efficiently and effectively alone, as well as part of a large and varied team.
• Enjoy working to deadlines and targets in a fast-paced environment.
