Key Job Role Information
Role: Female and Male Support WorkersLocation: WirralSalary: £14.29 per hour inclusive of holiday entitlementShifts: 08:00 – 20:00 day shifts and 20:00 – 08:00 Waking nightsExpected hours: 24 hours per week
Key Role Essentials and Responsibilities
- Full UK driver’s licence required
- Competent verbal and written English
- Must have experience within health and social care settings
Meet the person you’ll be supporting
- Who am I? I am a gentleman in my 20s
- What challenges do I have? I am diagnosed with Athetoid cerebral palsy, severe learning disability. I have diabetes and I’m non‑verbal and wheelchair user.
- How would I describe myself? I am a family man with a good sense of humour.
- What types of people do I get along with? I get on well with chatty staff who can have a laugh with me. I also have 2 pet dogs.
My team
- How many people support me at one time? I am supported on a 1:1 basis throughout the day, and during the night shift
- What shift patterns do my team do? My shift patterns are 08:00 am – 20:00 and Waking night 20:00 – 08:00

It is a requirement to provide an overseas police check dated within the last 3 months of being in the UK; if you have been outside of the UK for longer than a year in the last 10 years.
