Site Operative- Thatcham | £26,000 – £27,500

We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on Site Operative / Maintenance Assistant to join a busy estates team, playing a key role in keeping the site safe, secure and running smoothly day‑to‑day. This is a varied, practical role with real responsibility and no two days the same.

Hours

• Option 1: 1:30pm – 9:00pm
• Option 2 (rota): Week 1: 1:30pm – 9:00pm | Week 2: 10:30am – 6:00pm

As the Site Operative/ Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• General maintenance and minor repairs
• Opening/closing the site
• Daily pool testing
• Site security checks + CCTV monitoring
• Acting as Fire Officer
• Supporting events, set‑ups and site logistics
• Responding to out‑of‑hours/emergency issues

Qualifications

• Caretaker/maintenance experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Practical, proactive and able to work independently
• Strong awareness of health & safety
• Flexible with hours (including on‑call when needed)
