Learning Support Assistant – Pre‑Prep
One year fixed contract, start September 2026, potential flexibility for a later start. Reports to Head of Pre‑Prep. Salary: £25,192 per annum. Working hours: 3 days 8:00‑16:15, 1 day 8:00‑17:00, 1 day 8:00‑18:00.
The role requires a flexible, forward‑thinking, dynamic and innovative individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to support EYFS and Key Stage One children within the Pre‑Prep School (ages 3‑7).
Key Responsibilities
- Implement all safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Maintain excellent parent partnerships.
- Supervise health and safety.
- Implement all Culford policies and procedures.
- Support the learning of all pupils in the Pre‑Prep School aged 3‑7 years, including in‑class and group support, small group and 1:1 interventions, observations, and planning activities for the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
- Liaise with the Head of Pre‑Prep to develop the role.
- Assist with school events, trips and activities.
Essential Qualifications
- Level 3 or above qualification, which includes an Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working within a school setting.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in Early Years settings.
