1 Teaching Assistant – Stoke-on-Trent
Are you an outstanding Teaching Assistant with extensive experience supporting children who have additional needs? We are currently recruiting for a school in Stoke-on-Trent looking to appoint an experienced 1‑1 Teaching Assistant. This role will start as soon as possible and will be full‑time.
The schools value innovative TA’s who brighten students’ days and support them in feeling part of the class. Students with SEN are increasingly prominent; this is an rewarding career path that lets you form a bond with a student and play an instrumental role in providing the best education possible.
What You Will Need
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification (or an equivalent for ratio purposes)
- Experience working with children who have additional needs
- Experience within a Primary School (preferably 6 months or more)
- Updated and clean DBS on the updated service
- The ability to inspire children
- Willingness to work as part of a team
