First Aid Trainer – Newcastle

Location: Newcastle and surrounding areas (within approximately 50 mile radius). Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 6‑May evenings/weekends may include). Contract: Permanent. Salary: £20,950 – £22,878 per annum dependent on qualifications.

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to teach people how to save a life. As a British Red Cross First Aid Trainer you will deliver first aid training and specialist courses, teaching life‑saving skills to people in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

You will travel to training venues within a 50 mile radius of Newcastle. Candidates must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Flexibility is required for some evenings and weekends within a five‑day working pattern (Monday‑Saturday, 9‑5). Your business mileage is compensated, but travel from home to the base is not.

Please note: Compensation is provided for business mileage only; proximity to the advertised location should be considered.

  • You have or are willing to obtain a training or teaching qualification; a BTEC Award in Education & Training can be supported.
