Job Title: Stores Operative
Location: Portchester, Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: GBP13.45 – GBP14.50 per hour, depending on experience

Hours of Work: Mon–Thu 7:30am – 5:00pm, Fri 7:30am – 12:30pm (41 hrs/week)
This role is not agency based and requires the candidate to live within commutable distance from Fareham. Sponsorship is not offered and candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
About The Role
You will keep materials moving through our factory: goods in, goods out, stock control, and van deliveries. Production depends on this being done right, every day.
- Goods In: book in deliveries, process paperwork, keep the area clean and organised.
- Goods Out: pack components to a high standard, prepare delivery documentation, coordinate collections with customers and couriers.
- Stock Control: maintain accurate records, run regular stock checks, manage raw materials, finished goods, fixtures, and consumables in line with ISO 9001:2015.
- Driving: use the Penta van for some regional and local material deliveries and collections.
- Continuous improvement: flag issues, contribute to team meetings, help make things work better.
What We Need From You
- Previous stores experience, ideally in manufacturing or engineering.
- Full clean UK driving licence: essential. Applications without one cannot be considered.
- Good attention to detail and a tidy, methodical way of working.
- Comfortable with IT systems for stock and order processing.
- Forklift licence (preferred) or willingness to train.
- A positive team player who is willing to help and takes pride in getting things done properly.
