Salary: £13.10 – £14.10 per hour, depending on experience

Perm contract – 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week, including alternate weekends

Responsibilities

  • Run morning and afternoon activity sessions.
  • Produce and update an activity planner for the home, working within a set activities budget.
  • Organise birthday surprises for residents.
  • Liaise with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out and events at the home.
  • Arrange one‑to‑one sessions with residents, using tools such as reminiscence, puzzles, reading, or simply a cup of tea and a chat.
  • Support the home with its social media channels as required.

Qualifications & Skills

Creative thinker with plenty of ideas. Capable of managing budgets, maintaining paperwork and prioritising tasks as they arise. Interested in caring for others, sharing a sense of humour and spreading enthusiasm to improve people’s lives.
