Extrusion Operator – Location: Winsford, Cheshire.Salary: £33,552 per annum + Benefits.Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (2 Days 7am‑7pm / 2 Nights 7pm‑7am).Sector: Manufacturing / Packaging.

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Extrusion Operator to join a well‑established, international manufacturing business operating within the packaging sector. Responsibilities

• Operate blown film extrusion machinery to produce products to customer specifications.
• Complete order changes and material blend changes.
• Carry out quality control checks and accurately record results.
• Take corrective action where required to maintain product quality.
• Work from production schedules, work tickets, and job specifications.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Ensure finished products are packaged to the required standard.
• Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
• Support additional operational activities as required.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Previous experience operating machinery.
• Desirable: prior extrusion experience; experience within plastics, packaging, film production, or process manufacturing; experience working in a continuous production environment.
