Job Scope:
- Perform pulmonary function tests (e.g. spirometry, diffusion capacity, bronchial provocation) and allergy tests as required
- Ensure accurate documentation, preliminary reporting, and timely submission of results
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are in good working condition
- Manage lab inventory, consumables, and ensure proper stock levels
- Coordinate with doctors, clinics, and wards on test scheduling and urgent requests
- Support daily lab operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Assist with patient registration, appointments, and handling enquiries
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain service standards
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Biomedical Science / Biotechnology or equivalent
- Preferably with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical or laboratory setting
- Comfortable working in a patient-facing environment, including paediatric cases
- Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Proficient in basic computer applications
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
