Junior Vehicle / Service Technician – £28,000 to £32,000 Basic – Strictly Monday to Friday

The Payload

  • Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 basic salary per year (negotiable based on your current skills).
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. Strictly no weekends!
  • Holiday: 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
  • Training: Full training and mentoring provided—including the opportunity to gain your MOT tester license in our on-site MOT bay as you progress!

What You Will Be Doing

  • Carrying out routine vehicle servicing, regular maintenance, and multi-point health inspections to high standards.
  • Executing service schedules and basic repairs across a massive variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Performing core mechanical work including brakes, suspension components, steering, and exhaust systems.
  • Learning to utilize modern workshop diagnostic tools to perform fault-finding and service light system resets under guidance.
  • Ensuring all completed service work meets our rigorous quality and safety checklists.
  • Collaborating with a seasoned team of technicians to keep the workshop running smoothly.

What We Need From You

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in a garage environment.
  • Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 qualified (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) is preferred, but your practical ability and work ethic matter most.
  • Mindset: A detail-focused, reliable team player who takes pride in clean workmanship and has a genuine hunger to learn from senior staff.
  • A full UK driving licence.
