This role is a 35‑hour per week position with various shifts as required. As of 1 April 2026, a full‑time working week may be reduced from 37 to 36 hours, with a corresponding increase in hourly rate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve a range of dishes, including therapeutic diets, for patients, staff, visitors, and functions.
- Supervise subordinate staff in all duties within the department when dedicated supervisory staff is absent.
Requirements
- Legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom (right to work or eligibility for sponsorship).
- Must be able to obtain the required criminal records check. If the role is assessed as a regulated role, candidate must join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
