HGV Class 2 Tipper driver

Job Description

Starting wage £145 per day

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to operate out of the South Lincoln area. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of aggregates to various sites, ensuring high standards of service and compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely
• Delivering to construction sites, quarries, and commercial premises
• Adhering to all driving laws and company health & safety procedures

Duration: Long term ongoing role, with perm opportunities.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £14 p/h basic £17.30 p/h via umbrella. Overtime and bank holidays paid at time and a half. Weekly pay. 28 days annual leave pro-rata

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 06:00 – 08:00 start time. Averaging 10 hour shifts

Experience & Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous tipper or aggregate experience is advantageous
• Good knowledge of driver hours and regulations
