CNC Operator

CNC Operative (Milling & Turning) – Halesowen – Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm – £13.50 – £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a company based in Halesowen. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Operative with milling and turning experience to join a friendly and supportive team.

The Role

You will be responsible for operating CNC milling and turning machines, producing high-quality components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating CNC milling and turning machines
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Selecting and changing tooling as required
• Monitoring production to ensure quality standards are met
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
• Conducting in-process inspections using measuring equipment

Requirements

• Previous experience operating CNC milling and turning machines
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and verniers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
