Bolton and Blackburn with Darwen Music Service are looking for inspiring music tutors to join our team. We are looking for specialists in Music Technology, all instruments including South Asian instruments, vocal and curriculum.
Tutors will join a talented and committed team, travelling between schools across the region.
Bolton and Blackburn with Darwen are part of the Greater Manchester Music Hub which offers opportunities for development, experience and large‑scale works for all our teachers, pupils and wider community.
The role requires applicants to perform at a high level on their instrument and to have experience teaching curriculum.
There will be some travel between schools, so a full driving licence and use of a car is preferable.
All appointments will be subject to our safer recruitment process including an enhanced DBS check.
Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for an additional pre‑engagement check with effect 1 September 2022, please note an online search may form part of this recruitment process.
In line with our values, we want to ensure that our communities are represented across our workforce. We welcome applicants from minority ethnic, LGBT+, disabled and neurodiverse communities.
