Salary: 168-232 per day (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm

The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will play a vital role in helping students develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, using data to inform teaching and interventions
- Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations, supporting them to achieve strong outcomes
- Foster a structured and focused classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Support students in developing numerical fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives
Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject
- Possess effective classroom management and organisational skills
- Be committed to raising attainment and improving student outcomes
- Work collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking team
Eligibility Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two professional references relating to working with children
