Hearts at Home Home Care is expanding its team and looking for caring, compassionate Care assistants to support adults living at home with a range of needs throughout the local area.

Responsibilities

• Organise and maintain household items and supplies
• Assist with meal preparation and cooking
• Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning
• Provide companionship and engage in activities with the client
• Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing, if required
• Help with medication reminders, if needed

Requirements

• Driving Licence (Full UK Licence)
• Access to your own vehicle
• Sponsorship may be considered if necessary.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and bending
• Compassionate and patient demeanour

Qualifications

• Home care experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Language: English (required)
• Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required)
