Job Opportunity: Sales Assistant (Part‑Time)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant for a charity retail store. The role involves assisting the Shop Manager and a team of volunteers to ensure the shop runs smoothly and delivers excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high visual merchandising standards.
• Assist customers throughout their visit, from greeting to completion of purchase.
• Promote and explain the benefits of Gift Aid and other promotions.
• Complete all company paperwork, including cashing up and banking procedures.
• Encourage and assist in volunteer training.
• Assist in sorting and preparing donated stock.
• Travel to other shops within the cluster as required.
• Support the Shop Manager with best practice and Health & Safety procedures.
• Manage daily shop operations and volunteers in the Manager’s absence.
• Ensure personal behaviour reflects the company’s vision and values.

Benefits

Part‑time 15 hours per week, £12.58 per hour, 2 days over 6 months. Holiday entitlement of 26 days plus bank holidays. Virtual GP service, pension scheme, and more.

Schedule

Shift basis Monday to Saturday. No evening or Sunday work.
