LGV C Refuse Driver (HGV Class 2) – Immediate Start | BRISTOL

We are currently recruiting 3 experienced LGV C (HGV Class 2) Refuse Drivers to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis at our Yate Depot.

Location: Yate – South Gloucestershire

Position Details:

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (after 12 weeks)

Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour

Working Hours: 07:00 – 16:00

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Role Responsibilities:

• Operating either a 12-tonne kerbside recycling collection vehicle, or a 26-tonne refuse / garden waste collection vehicle (RCV)
• Completing scheduled collection routes safely and efficiently
• Working alongside a team of loaders
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and adhering to safety regulations
• Assisting with loading duties where required (driver-loader role)

Requirements:

• Valid LGV C (Class 2) licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience in refuse or similar roles preferred
• Must arrive with basic PPE (safety boots, high-visibility clothing)
• Willingness to assist with loading when needed
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
