Hours
73.50 hours per week (shared by multiple staff). Typical shifts include weekdays and weekends, days (07:45–19:00) and waking nights (18:45–08:00). 24-hour on‑call shifts are available for holidays. Bank hours are also available on a 2‑week rolling rota to cover absences.
Pay and Benefits
- £15.15/hour (Monday to Friday days and waking nights)
- £17.58/hour (Saturday and Sunday and waking nights)
- On‑call: £25 for 12 hours; calls to cover a shift pay at 1.5× appropriate rate
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata)

Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of daily living, keeping track of medical supplies and planning activities
- Work within the client’s home and in the community
- Provide 2:1 care 24/7 alongside another team member
- Support the client’s medical and therapeutic appointments, liaising with health professionals and therapists
- Follow the client’s care plan and ensure safety and welfare at all times
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience supporting adults with complex care needs
- Awareness of emotional, behavioural and cognitive needs
- Willingness to learn and grow with on‑the‑job and professional training
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
- High energy, patience, positive attitude and strong organisational skills
- Driver licence desirable (for wheelchair‑adapted vehicle)

- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
- Satisfactory references, including your last employer
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate (a conviction will not necessarily prevent you from being employed)
