About the role
Working as part of a dedicated team, you’ll provide overnight support across Cherry Bridge Lodge or Skye Crescent Lodge, supporting adults with a wide range of needs including mental health, substance use, and complex behaviours.

- Keeping accurate records and providing clear handovers to day staff
- Preparing rooms for new residents and maintaining communal areas
- Supporting new arrivals and ensuring residents feel welcomed and treated with dignity
About you
You’ll be resilient, practical, and driven by a genuine desire to help others. You’re someone who can stay calm under pressure, set clear boundaries, and build trust with people from a range of backgrounds.
We’re particularly keen to hear from you if you:
- You have experience of dealing with vulnerable people from possible problematic background
- You have the ability to work with customers who have complex needs and who may be challenging to work with, and to respond to conflict situations in a calm yet firm manner
- You have the ability to support, cooperate and ‘teamwork’ with others to achieve common objectives
- You have an awareness of health and safety / personal safety issues in a support accommodation project
- You have an understanding of safeguarding issues. You have the ability to act as an advocate and liaise with the relevant agencies
At Stepping Stone Projects, you’ll be part of a values‑driven organisation where your work has real purpose. Every shift, you’ll help create a safe environment where people can begin to rebuild their lives.
