Principal AI Research Scientist – Leadership & Strategy

Meta Platforms, Inc. is seeking a Principal Research Scientist to join our Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) team, focused on AI breakthroughs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ML theory, Responsible AI, and experience in building large-scale models for vision, language, or speech.

As a leader, you’ll drive research strategy, mentor peers, and influence progress across teams. A Ph.D. and 5+ years in AI research are required, with a strong record of high-impact publications. Experience in Python or C/C++ is preferred.
