Responsibilities
- Operate Counterbalance forklift or other hand truck.
- Operate Telehandler to move and tip dolavs into a trailer.
- Operate Shunter truck to move trailers on/off the loading bays and in the Offal area.
- Weigh the Offal (CAT2/CAT3) trailers on the weight bridge to maintain the required trailer fill.
- Record the required information on daily checks (trailer lists/trailer checks).
- Follow quality and customer service standards set forth by the company.
- Perform daily equipment counts as required.
- Unload/load deliveries of equipment (pallets, dolavs, trays).
- Inspect and perform maintenance of Counterbalance, Telahandler, and Shunter (pre-start checks).
- Use a compactor and regularly empty rubbish bins.
- Clean as you go, litter picking; pressure wash and prepare the yard for all weather conditions.
What you will need
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence – Essential.
- Shunter License / HGV – Preferred.
- Telehandler Licence – Preferred.
