Job Title: Sports Coach

Salary: £6,534 – £8,350 per annum (Grade 3.5)

Hours: 13.75 hours per week (2:45 pm – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday) or 11 hours per week (2:45 pm – 5:30 pm, Monday to Thursday)

Location: Hagley Primary School – Hagley Wrap Around Care Club

Employment Type: Part‑time, permanent, term‑time only

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging sports and playcare activities for children.
• Support children’s social, emotional and physical development, including those with special educational needs.
• Provide a safe and secure environment.
• Promote inclusion and equality in all activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members and parents to ensure high‑quality care.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in delivering childcare or sports activities.
• DBS checked or willing to undergo a DBS check.
• High expectations, caring attitude, flexibility and a proactive approach.
• Ability to work within a team and support the club’s ethos.
