Partner Financial are working with an international retail business entering a significant phase of expansion. The business is seeking to appoint an Interim Senior Finance Manager who will play a key role in driving performance and supporting strategic objectives as they continue to invest in and strengthen their global footprint.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting and embedding best practices across the organisation. This role will support business scalability through continuous improvement, process automation, and the implementation of robust financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the period-end accounting process, including variance analysis and preparation of Board Pack commentary
- Driving accurate and insightful financial reporting for all budget holders
- Ensuring strong financial controls and maintaining balance sheet integrity
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and central salary reconciliation processes
- Mentoring and managing a team of four finance professionals
- Contributing to audit readiness and driving continuous improvement initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a controllership position with demonstrated leadership skills, ideally in fast-paced matrix organisation
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills, comfortable challenging existing protocols, and comfortable influencing at all levels of the business
- Hands-on attitude and ability to reach objectives
