Welsh-Medium ALN Teaching Assistant

Location: Swansea, Neath & Port Talbot

Pay: £88.92-£95.00/day

Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ALN in Welsh-medium settings
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons through the medium of Welsh
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment
• Help prepare learning materials and support classroom organisation
• Monitor and record pupil progress to support learning outcomes
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff

What We’re Looking For

• Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written)
• Experience working with children in educational or care settings
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
