# Domestic Assistant 26hrs, NewryResponsible to: Home ManagerReports to: Home ManagerWe are now looking for a dedicated **Domestic Assistant** to join the team in our **’Our Mother of Mercy’ Home** in **Newry** to ensure the high standard of cleanliness in the Nursing Home is maintained.The role is for 26 hours per week over 5 days, 8am-1pm, pay rate £12.71 per hourAs Domestic Assistant your responsibilities are:* Follow cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure a clean and sanitary environment.* Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.* Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and countertops.* Vacuum carpets and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.* Empty bins and replace liners as needed.* Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.* Perform floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and buffing.* Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment.* Assisting in the preparation and cooking of food* General cleaning of all areas within the kitchen and food preparation areas* Assisting in the service of meals and snacksFull induction and ongoing training provided.#J-18808-Ljbffr…
