Production Support Engineer – London – £200,000 – £300,000 (base + performance bonus) – 4 days in office

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Engineer to join a dynamic trading environment in London. This hands-on role blends operational expertise with technical skills to ensure the seamless execution of daily trading operations and the accuracy of pricing data.

Responsibilities

• Validate pricing data each morning using SQL and proprietary tools.
• Bring trading systems online and provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational support.
• Monitor valuations and underlying basket compositions to maintain data integrity.
• Streamline, automate, and enhance operational workflows and scripts.
• Partner closely with traders and developers to design new tools and improve existing systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive SQL experience (PostgreSQL or equivalent) with large-scale datasets.
• Proficiency in Python, including data analysis with Pandas.
• Strong understanding of market data (Bloomberg, Reuters).
• Working knowledge of Bash and Linux environments.
• Experience within ETFs will be beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
