Family Support Worker

This is an on-site contract role based in Weston Super Mare for a Family Support Worker. Responsibilities will include providing direct support to families and children, creating positive family relationships, assisting with care plans, and collaborating with social workers and other professionals. You will conduct home visits, provide guidance and resources, and support family units to foster better living conditions and well-being.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Working With Children, supporting their safety and development
• DBS for Adults and Children
• Strong Communication skills for interacting with families and professionals
• Empathy, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to person-centered care
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Experience with supported living environments for children, young people, or adults is advantageous
