About The Role
We have two full‑time, permanent posts available in the fostering service. Key responsibilities include:
- Support and Supervise Foster Carers – Provide ongoing support, guidance, and supervision visits to foster families and ensure carers are well‑equipped to provide care.
- Assess and Train Carers – Conduct assessments on prospective and current foster carers, ensuring regulatory standards are met.
- Coordinate and Monitor Care Plans – Work with professionals, children, and families to develop, implement, and adapt care plans.
- Advocate for Children – Ensure children’s voices are heard and their needs are met in collaboration with professional teams.
- Ensure Compliance – Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensure all practices comply.
- Foster Relationships – Build trusting relationships with carers, children, and stakeholders.

Requirements
We are an equal‑opportunity employer and a Disability Confident workplace. The post requires an enhanced DBS check (children barred list), Social Work England/HCPC registration, and 3–5 years of relevant experience.
