Overview
An exciting opportunity hasarisen for a reliable and flexible Security Officer to join our team at CEVA Logistics, Doncaster. This role is idealfor someone looking to cover holiday and sickness shifts, includingshort-notice cover, and who is happy working predominantly outdoors.
The site is a busy logisticsenvironment, and you will play a key role in maintaining safety, security, andsmooth daily operations. Duties include vehicle booking-in and out, monitoringCCTV, and dealing professionally with visitors, drivers, and contractors.
This position would suitsomeone with minimal other commitments who is happy to be called upon at shortnotice and can work flexibly when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking vehicles in and outof site
- Monitoring and operatingCCTV systems
- Controlling access andmanaging site visitors and drivers
- Carrying out regularpatrols of the site (majority outdoors)
- Maintaining accuraterecords and incident reports
- Responding to incidentsappropriately and escalating when required
- Ensuring site rules andprocedures are followed at all times
- Providing a professionaland approachable front-of-house presence
- Supporting site operationsduring busy periods, holidays, and sickness cover
- Maintaining high standardsof conduct, safety, and security
Requirements
- Full 5-year checkableemployment history
- Comfortable workingoutdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexible and reliable withthe ability to work at short notice
- Good communication skills,both written and verbal
- Confident dealing withdrivers, visitors, and contractors
- Professional appearance andattitude
- Ability to workindependently and as part of a team

- This role involves outdoorwork – full uniform and wet weather PPE will be provided
- Shifts will vary dependingon site needs
