Your Role
- You will be responsible for safely handling and disposing of chemicals on site, adhering to COSHH and ensuring the safety of others.
- You accurately weigh out chemicals, ensuring raw materials are within expiry and in process checks adhered to throughout, to ensure a quality batch release.
- You will be responsible for ensuring batches are produced to the internal standards, using test methods, analyzing data and making calculations to remain within tolerances.
- You maintain and complete accurate records, following good documentation practice.
- You will be responsible for label approval.
- You will be responsible for preparing and referencing internal laboratory standards.
- You work to meet GMP compliance and FDA standards.
- You solve assigned, non-routine tasks and contribute to projects or assignments and support developments or projects.
- You will be an effective team member and able to communicate across functions.
- You will be curious – keen to understand, learn and try new things, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Qualifications
- A Science (Chemical related) degree is highly desirable.
- Experience in a medical/Pharma manufacturing environment.
- IT literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
