Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Sunday (shift work)

Salary: £13.75 per hour, plus night shift allowance of £0.85 per hour for hours 23:59–6:00

Job Summary

The Housekeeper reports to the Team Leader and is a key member of the back‑of‑house team, focusing on cleaning and waste activities to ensure guest expectations are met and exceeded, so they leave our lounges feeling welcome, relaxed & energised.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and tidy environment for lounge guests.
• Maintain clean and hygienic washroom facilities, ensuring accessories are stocked and hygienic bins maintained.
• Remove waste responsibly using on‑site skips and compactors and following recycling procedures.
• Realign lounge furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
• Apply house cleaning fluids correctly following COSHH regulations.
• Maintain sufficient stock levels of cleaning fluids and equipment.
• Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas.
• Assist the Chef and team leader with applying the Food Safety Management System consistently.
• Respond to reasonable requests made by the team leader or manager.
• Handle ad‑hoc reasonable requests by local leadership team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitisation products, techniques and methods.
• Knowledge of operating cleaning equipment.
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend.
• Ability to work as part of a team or be self‑motivated to complete tasks.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexibility when required.
• Flexibility to work shifts covering 03:30–21:00, 7 days a week.
