Class 2 Skip Driver – Waste Management

Our Role

We are recruiting for a Class 2 Skip Driver to join a waste management company based in Cumbernauld. This role involves delivering and collecting skips across local sites, ensuring safe and efficient service at all times. It suits someone dependable, safety‑conscious and confident working in a fast‑paced environment.

Your Time at Work

• Driving a Class 2 skip vehicle to deliver and collect skips




• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects




• Placing skips safely at customer and site locations




• Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with regulations




• Completing delivery notes and relevant paperwork accurately




• Providing a professional service when dealing with customers




• Following all road and site health and safety procedures

Our Perfect Worker

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence




• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card




• Previous skip or waste industry experience preferred




• Good awareness of road safety and site operations




• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic




• Able to work independently and manage time effectively




• Good customer service and communication skills




• Flexible approach to duties and working hours

Key Information and Benefits

• Monday to Friday working pattern




• 6:00 a.m. start time




• Overtime available after 8 hours
