Responsibilities

• Continue to encourage and support clients in their own homes by assisting with personal care, prompting medication, etc. Understand that clients’ needs vary and demonstrate empathy.
• Maintain good communication with clients and colleagues; show a sense of humour.

Qualifications

• Good basic understanding of how ageing can impact people; empathy toward clients.
• Experience in this type of work would be an advantage.
• Driving licence (not essential) and ability to travel independently are advantageous.
• SVQ in Health and Social Care preferable; enhanced disclosure (DBS) required; registration with the SSSC.

Employment details

• Full and part-time hours available.
