HGV Class 1 Drivers needed for ongoing work, delivering to M&S stores
ADR Network is a trusted leader in logistics recruitment, with a reputable blue-chip client base, and we are currently looking for Class 1 drivers for Gist, Marks & Spencer. If you are searching for ongoing HGV work near the Barnsley area with good rates of pay, we want to hear from you!
Pay Rates:
- Days: From £18.30 per hour
- Nights: From £21.95 per hour
- Weekends: Up to £23.79 per hour
- Overtime (after 40 hrs/week): £20.12–£27.44 All rates are PAYE, with holiday pay accrued separately.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months of recent HGV driving experience required
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
You’ll transport fresh, ambient, and frozen goods to Marks & Spencer stores, beginning each shift from a well‑organised depot with clean, well‑maintained vehicles. Deliveries are made using cages and tail lifts for ease. Full training and induction will be provided to ensure you’re fully prepared and work safely from day one.
Shift Information
- T: Typical start times: 01:00–05:00 and 14:00–19:00
- Usual shift length: 10–11 hours
- Full training provided following a successful driving assessment
