Receptionist – Mark’s Club
We are seeking an experienced and polished Receptionist to join the team at Mark’s Club, part of The Birley Clubs. Mark’s Club is a distinguished private members’ dining club set within a serene Mayfair townhouse. Renowned for its exceptional service and refined atmosphere, the Club offers an outstanding selection of cocktails, fine wines, and premium cigars.
As a Receptionist you will be the first point of contact upon member arrival and therefore will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service is provided to our members and their guests. The successful candidate will be confident in handling enquiries as well as instinctively recognise the needs of our members.
We Are Ideally Looking For Candidates Who Have
- Previous experience in a receptionist role within a private members’ club or busy, high-profile, high-quality restaurant
- A genuine passion for creating an excellent member experience
- Impeccable appearance, an engaging personality and the ability to remain calm at all times
- The ability to multi task and effectively react to changing member needs
- Be a natural and confident communicator both face to face and on the telephone
- Be organised and motivated and see tasks through to completion
- Possess an excellent command of the English language
- Be an excellent team player with good administration skills
- Previous experience of online reservation booking systems is highly desirable
- A keen interest in the theatre, arts, current affairs and politics is desirable
