Cover Supervisor

• Salary: Grade E SCP 11 to 17 (£24,071 to £26,534 per annum)
• Full‑time equivalent salary: £28,142 to £31,022 per annum
• Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8 am‑4 pm and Friday 8 am‑3:30 pm (including an unpaid 30‑minute lunch break)
• Contract: Permanent, term time plus 5 days
• Required for: September 2026
• Closing date: 9 am on Monday 15th June 2026

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during the absence of the class teacher under the guidance of teaching/senior staff.
• Implement work programmes and assist students in relevant activities, in line with their needs and school policies and procedures.
• Undertake administrative duties, in‑class support, exam invigilation and school break and lunchtime duties.

Qualifications

• Appropriate degree or HLTA status.
• Significant school experience.
