Job Overview

We are looking for a mid to senior-level Sales Engineer based in the UK to drive technical pre-sales efforts and customer engagement across the region. In this role, you will be the face of Quicktron for prospective clients, managing front-line technical discussions, qualifying customer needs, and working closely with our solution experts in the EU and Shanghai to deliver world-class AMR-based solutions.

This is a remote position, but you should be comfortable traveling to client sites (~50%) and representing Quicktron in front of strategic accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales Engagement: Lead technical discussions with potential clients to understand operational challenges and introduce Quicktron’s AMR offerings.
  • Client Qualification: Assess customer environments and needs to determine solution feasibility and business fit.
  • Coordination with Solution Team: Work closely with our EU and Shanghai solution engineering teams to translate customer requirements into tailored AMR solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Support the creation of technical proposals and responses to RFQs and RFPs.
  • Relationship Management: Build long-term customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or related fields.

Experience:

  • 3–7 years in pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting in robotics or AMR-related solutions.
  • Strong familiarity with warehouse automation and intralogistics processes.

Technical Competence:

  • Solid understanding of AMR systems and warehouse automation workflows.
  • Proficiency with tools such as CAD; knowledge of basic programming (e.g., Python) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to interpret and use operational data.
  • Independent, self-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.

Languages:

  • Mandarin Chinese is a significant advantage due to collaboration with our Shanghai HQ.
