Do you enjoy driving and making a difference to people’s lives? We’re looking for a caring, reliable and customer-focused Driver to join our team at Bishopstoke Park.
As a Bank Driver, you’ll provide cover for annual leave (approximately 8 weeks per year) and sickness absence, often at short notice. Working hours are offered on an ad hoc basis and are typically Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays to support resident outings and events. Shifts usually range from 6 to 8 hours.
Set within 42 acres of beautiful woodland in the historic Hampshire parish of Bishopstoke, our retirement village offers independent living accommodation alongside extensive communal facilities and services. This is a year-round role, working outdoors in all weather conditions.
As a Driver,you’ll safely transport residents to appointments, outings and social activities, helping them stay active, independent and connected to their community. You’ll support residents when boarding and leaving the vehicle, assist those with mobility needs, and help ensure every journey is enjoyable. You’ll also be responsible for carrying out vehicle safety checks, maintaining records, and ensuring the minibus remains clean, safe and roadworthy.
Whatwe’relooking for:
- Full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement

- Experience working with older people or in a customer-facing role would be an advantage
