Warehouse Operatives & Drivers Mates – Hoyland

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives and Drivers Mates for a well-established home furnishings business based in Hoyland.

Warehouse Operative Duties

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Picking, packing and organising orders
• Processing returns
• Loading delivery vans (afters and nights shifts)

Drivers Mate Duties

• Supporting drivers with home deliveries
• Delivering household items to customers’ homes
• Manual handling and heavy lifting

Both roles involve heavy lifting, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable handling large household items.

Shifts Available

• Days: 06:00 – 14:00
• Afters: 14:00 – 22:00
• Nights: 23:00 – 07:00
• Drivers Mates: 06:00 starts

Pay Rates

• Drivers Mate / Porter: £12.79 per hour
• Afters Shift: £13.10 per hour
• Nights Shift: £15.98 per hour
