What you’ll do

• Perform minor or emergency repairs, decorating and cleaning in properties and communal areas.
• Handle tasks like hanging curtain poles, moving furniture, touching up paint, changing washers, unblocking sinks, mowing lawns and clearing grounds.
• Carry out regular fire safety checks.
• Work with colleagues, contractors and customers.
• Liaise with Customer Service Centre and contractors to report and follow up on repairs outside your remit.

You have

• A team player with a can‑do attitude and enthusiasm.
• General maintenance know‑how, a bit of carpentry, basic plumbing and confidence with a paintbrush or broom.
• Comfortable working and communicating with people from all walks of life.
• Ability to use technology for receiving tasks, data input, reading reports and taking photographs.
• To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle. The great news is that we’ll provide you with a fleet vehicle!

The practical bits

• We mainly work Monday‑Friday, but we’re flexible as long as we meet our customer’s needs.
• You’ll be based at Kirklees and travel around other properties in our West Yorkshire patch.
• Occasionally you’ll head outside the patch for all hands‑on deck situations.
• You’ll need a Standard DBS check, we pay for it.
