Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team based at Central and Summerhill Pharmacies in Erdington. You will be involved in the progression of the Technician‑led Dispensary and in the development of Pharmacy Technician roles in delivering medicines optimisation services for inpatient and community areas. Training will be provided to complete the ACPT course and Medicines Optimisation course if not already completed, as well as in‑house leadership training.
Main Duties
- Coordinating dispensary staff
- Dispensing medicines
- Accuracy checking
- Ward duties: support to senior pharmacy technicians with medicines reconciliation, POD assessments, managing patient supply needs, discharges, and transfer of care
Person Specification
- Registered with GPhC or due to register in 2025
- Qualified ACPT, in the process of completing ACPT qualification, or willing to work towards completing ACPT
