About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for Fluid Support Operative to join our Ground Engineering team.
What you’ll be doing
The successful candidate will:
- have day to day responsibilities of Fluid Support Plant (Bentonite/Polymer);
- plan the set‑up of the area, mobilise plant and equipment, mix & testing of Bentonite/Polymer and send to various site locations;
- manage and operate plant systems under different site conditions, liaising with and answerable to the Site Supervisor, taking the lead with Fluid site activities and to be the first point of contact for weekly site‑based employees;
- assist Supervisor with the safe and efficient running of the contract on site, the management of equipment including resource and supporting to ensure that the company HSEQ system is implemented;
- assist Supervisor in promoting Excellence, Teamwork, Integrity and Respect;
- ensure that they are familiar with the relevant company policies and procedures and that these are followed at all times.
Who we’re looking for
The successful candidate will have the folliowng skills and knowledge:
- Basic IT skills for the use of BIM and construction management tools;
- Development, Training, and coaching ability;
- Knowledge of piling techniques in rotary discipline;
- Relevant manufacture/supplier training where required;
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and best practices;
- Understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes;
- Knowledge of site method statements, procedures, risk assessments and site-specific rules;
- Knowledge of piling techniques within discipline;
- Basic Mechanical knowledge of Ground Stabilisation and Piled Foundation equipment.

- CITB – SSSTS /SMSTS
- First Aid
- Fit For Role -Safety Critical Medical (SEQUAL Registered)

- CSCS Crawler Crane
