Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Queen (or King): You’ll be the guardian of all things tasty—checking our ingredients, overseeing baking processes, and ensuring every batch meets Dougie’s sky-high standards (no soggy bottoms here).
- Trend Spotter: Stay ahead of the baking curve and help us whip up what’s next before everyone else does.
- Collaborator Extraordinaire: Work with our bakers, suppliers, and marketing dream team to make sure every product tastes amazing and looks the part.
- In-House Guru: Train our team on new ingredients, techniques, and tech – because we love a glow‑up (especially if it’s edible).
Qualifications:
- A degree in Food Science, Food Tech, or similar. Bonus points if you’ve nerded out over flour types.
- At least 3 years in a Food Tech or similar role with a portfolio that proves you’ve got both the brains and the buns!
- You know your way around modern baking equipment and recipe software.
- Detail‑obsessed – because consistency is key (and we don’t want a lemon drizzle turning into a lemon disaster).
- Team player with great communication skills and a love for a good bake‑off chat.
