ALN & Complex Needs Support Assistant

Carmarthenshire | Specialist Provision | Full & Part-Time Available

Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
  • Supporting pupils with learning, engagement, and communication
  • Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour support strategies
  • Helping to create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
  • Working closely with teachers and wider multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS on the Online Service (or willingness to obtain)
  • EWC registration (or willingness to register)
  • Experience in care, support work, education, or health & social care (desirable)
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional learning needs
