About the Role
- Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching for pupils across KS2-KS4, with a focus on complex needs
- Plan, adapt, and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes, developmental milestones, and sensory requirements
- Support pupils’ holistic development-academic, social, emotional, and communication skills
- Collaborate closely with the SENCO, learning support staff, therapists, and families to provide a consistent and effective approach
- Monitor pupil progress, contribute to reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in an SEN setting (or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream environment)
- A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management
- Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to nurturing every child’s progress
To be eligible you must
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
