Primary ECT Opportunity – Doncaster
Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Primary Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work in welcoming and supportive primary schools across Doncaster from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for newly qualified teachers looking to gain valuable classroom experience across all primary key stages, including EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, while building confidence and developing their teaching career in a range of school settings.
We are looking for passionate and adaptable educators who are committed to creating engaging learning environments and making a positive impact on pupils’ education.
The Role
- Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in line with the national curriculum
- Create positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environments
- Support pupils’ academic, emotional and social development
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive engagement
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, senior leaders and wider school staff
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment where required
Requirements
Applicants must be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) working towards or recently awarded Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Successful candidates will ideally have:
- Experience gained through teaching placements within primary settings
- A willingness to work across all primary key stages (EYFS, KS1 and KS2)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A flexible, enthusiastic and proactive approach to teaching
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
